Romantic country hideaway designed for couples wishing to get away from it all. This traditional detached farm stone building has recently been developed to an exceptional standard.
The Hideaway comprises double bedroom with four-poster bed and access directly to private patio area; bathroom with sauna, double ended Jacuzzi and shower; open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen, sofa bed for visiting guests, TV/DVD and wood-burning stove. Under-floor central heating, electricity and linen included in tariff.
Located on a working family farm at the foot of the Sidlaw Hills in Angus, several walking tracks lead from the Hideaway to the summits of Craigowl, Balkello and Auchterhouse Hills where stunning views can be enjoyed - ideal location for picnics.
Several scenic cycle routes start and finish at Balkello, all based on quiet country lanes, with a secure shed provided in the garden for bikes. Stabling available for horses from spring 2006.
The Hideaway is a secluded and private retreat, but for those wishing to venture out, award winning restaurants, theatres, cinemas and casinos are located a short taxi ride away in the City of Dundee.
