The Fishermans Tavern Hotel is situated on the Eastern outskirts of Dundee in the quaint seaside town of Broughty Ferry. It was favoured by the city's jute barons and became known as "the richest square mile in Europe".
Its fine seafront esplanade and extensive sands are perfect for a stroll or a picnic after a browse around Broughty's wonderful small shops.
At the Heart of the town the 15th century Broughty Castle ouses an excellent museum with superb displays on arms and armour, seashore life and the whaling industry.
