Drumgesk B & B

Drumgesk is an enlarged and refurbished Scottish croft house, built in 1899. With a beautiful dining room and a large drawing room, along with a country kitchen, it is a warm and welcoming family home. Drumgesk B&B is open all year round, except for a few days over Christmas and a holiday taken at some other time during the year. It has been awarded two stars by the Scottish Tourist Board. Full British, Scottish, Continental or Scandinavian breakfasts are served in the Dining Room.

Royal Deeside offers a wide range of attractions for all visitors. The fascinating Castle Trail takes in many of the National Trust for Scotland properties, castles and gardens, while the Whisky Trail comprises all the distilleries of the Northeast. The newly established Cairngorms National Park is within a day's excursion distance.

Drumgesk is the ideal base from which to explore Eastern Scotland or the magnificent Highlands. Balmoral Castle is situated a little way up the Dee valley. The River Dee is internationally renowned for its Salmon and trout fishing. Golf courses in the surrounding region are plentiful and varied, from the classic links courses on the Aberdeenshire coast to the hilly courses of the upland areas, via a number of excellent and attractive flat courses along the Dee valley. They cater for all levels of experience, from courses suited to the novice to those approaching championship quality. Gliding and orienteering are also available nearby.
