Beauty Care by Clare

It’s been a while since I wrote about perfume. It’s been a bit of a drought around here, with a lot of new perfume releases failing to excite me. Luckily, L’Occitane introduced Bergamot Tea and it’s great!

The fragrance has notes of bergamot, cardamom, mandarin, grapefruit, black tea, wild rose, blond wood, black wood, and musks. I have no idea what blond wood and black wood are. But the resulting scent is really fresh and citrusy, and those basenotes do help it stick around longer than many citrus fragrances. Win!

What I really love is the Milky Mist spray lotion. It is basically a cross between a scented body spray and a super lightweight lotion. You spray it on and can either leave it or gently rub it in. It makes my skin so soft and it smells so good! It’s love at first spray.

The other product in the line that is a must-have is the hand cream. I really love the Green Tea hand cream, and the Bergamot Tea is essentially the same formula with the new fragrance. It’s moisturizing without being heavy or greasy, and is a lighter alternative to the famous 20% Shea Hand Cream (of which I am also an addict). But the tea hand creams are nice for the car, they don’t take as long to sink in so no greasy steering wheels.
