Achentoul Hind Stalking
Submitted by Owen McCafferty on Fri, 2009-12-04
Hind stalking is an important part of the Achentoul estate conservation.
If the number of hinds are not kept down to a manageable level they can do vast amounts of damage to woodland and reduce their own food supplies so much that they die a lingering death by starvation in winter.
The income generated helps in the employment and training aspects of the estate management.

Angus also pulled out of the recent Scotland v Wales international in Dundee, and missed last Sunday's clash with England at Nottingham.
