Farr High School provides all-through education in the parishes of Tongue and Farr in North Sutherland.

New Opportunities at Farr (Excerpt taken from Farr High School Book):

"We are living in a time of enormous technological change, particularly where information processing and the transfer of information from place to place is concerned. In this "information explosion" it ought to be possible for all places to take part no matter where they are situated on the surface of the globe. Modern telecommunication systems are making distance irrelevant and we are taking advantage of these developments at Farr."

Farr High has been able to use such items as an Electronic Writing Board from Thurso College and the Internet, and now S3 have become involved in the World Wide Web and have put Bettyhill firmly on the map!
