Wild Heather Bed and Breakfast at Millhouse
Escape to the beautifully restored over 100 year old Millhouse, literally on the shores of Millbay where you can experience a warm welcome at the Wild Heather bed and breakfast at Millhouse, with tasty home cooked meals available, whilst enjoying breathtaking sea views not only from your room but from all around the property. Rosslyn Chapel, where work begun in 1446 by Sir William St.Clair third and last prince of Orkney lies 7 miles South of Edinburgh. Our tour guide who is local to Roslin, and has a deep interest in the chapel, will take you on a guided tour pointing out stonework that might otherwise be missed. See the famed Apprentice Pillar and the unique barrel vaulted roof elaborately carved with flowers and stars. Discover the Dance of Death, Dance Macabre and King Robert the Bruces Death Mask. There are also plants from the New World such as Corn, Cacti and Aloe Cactus and many more carvings to admire.
