Holborn Head - Clett Rock
Submitted by Owen McCafferty on Thu, 2009-12-31Holborn Head Clett Rock, a solitary sea rock aout 30m high made of Caithness old red sandstone and away from the mainland by a 15m wide channel.
This is a lovely refreshing walk. Be careful not to go too near the edge though! On this walk, you will not only see the Clett but, the blow-holes where on a stormy day the spray will be forced up through the hole and make you wet! So be warned!
