ONE perfect place to chill out this summer is the coolest place in Scotland – SNO!zone There are 1700 tonnes of real snow on the slopes of SNO!zone, which is situated in the leisure complex at Xscape, Braehead.
For winter sports lovers, the venue offers all- year-round snow – something even the Swiss Alps cannot guarantee! And for those who prefer to stay warm and dry, there’s the SNO!bar, which has a viewing gallery so that you can still be part of the fun. It’s also where you can enjoy some apres ski drinks while listening to live music.
For experienced skiers and snowboarders, there’s a giant 200m metre long slope which is covered with fresh snow. There are also special sessions offering discounted slope time and free- style nights with special slope features.
But perhaps you are completely new to skiing or snowboarding altogether?
Well, it is never too late to learn and SNO!zone’s experienced instructors will be only to happy to teach you all the skills and techniques. Lessons start at £23 and includes the equipment…so you only need to bring gloves! Kids love tobogganing sessions, which start at £11.
