The Tourist Information Centre is in the public car park in the centre of Kyle (on the A87 at the gateway between the Highlands of Scotland and the Isle of Skye). There are also public toilets and showers here. There is a charge of 20p to use the toilets and £1.00 for the shower.
Kyle of Lochalsh offers a good range of shops and services, as well as a fascinating small museum of local transport housed in the railway station here. You can get the usual array of information and advice about the area as well as tickets for the Seaprobe Atlantis boat trips, gifts and postcards, accommodation, travel timetables, car hire & more. Many people pay the 20p just to see the decoration. Parking is available adjacent to the pier or opposite the Info Centre.
