Bellahouston Park

This extensive park has many features and facilities to tempt visitors and local residents to its grounds. It boasts formal gardens and open parkland in which to relax and take in views over the city and beyond. Quiet contemplation can also be had at the House for an Art Lover and for the more active and adventurous there are extensive sports facilities.

Bellahouston contains a Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool, the Palace of Arts Sports for Excellence Centre, Glasgow Ski Centre and Practice Slope, the House For an Art Lover and the Papal Retaining Wall.

Bellahouston Park has been called "The Sports Centre without a roof" In addition to the aforementioned principal feaures the park also contains two children's play areas - including grounds for Play themed sculputure play area, a sculpture garden, two bowling greens, an orienteering course, an 18 hole pitch and put course, an "All Weather" Hockey Pitch, an "All Weather" Running Track - not to mention extensive horticultural features including a walled garden, a Sunken Garden,a Horseshoe Garden and finallly the state of the art Bellahouston Nursery.
