Machuim Farm has 3 very comfortable and warm self-catering houses in fantastic locations close to beautiful Loch Tay. All three are detached and are carefully managed by ourselves to ensure high standards. Tulloch and Lawnacroy are very spacious with spectacular views of the Loch and the surrounding hills. Shian, a renovated cottage with lots of character, has a wonderful location in private woodland with stunning waterfalls in the two adjacent burns. Lawers is a small unspoilt village close to Killin, Kenmore and Aberfeldy. Good food and drink available within walking distance. Ample parking. Owners live at Machuim Farm.

Loch Tay is a superb location for a fantastic holiday. Breath taking countryside, majestic mountains, imposing castles and an abundance of wildlife, willl make your stay unforgettable. Our home, Machuim Farm (pronounced “Ma’weem”) is a working farm at the foot of Ben Lawers mountain overlooking Loch Tay.

Our three houses have superb locations offering peace and privacy with spectacular views of Loch Tay, Ben Lawers and the surrounding hills. Lawers is found on the north road of Loch Tay, midway between the villages of Killin and Kenmore and not far from the busy little town of Aberfeldy.

Tulloch and Lawnacroy sit up on the hillside close to the farm and enjoy unrivalled views across the Loch and hillsides. Both have large enclosed gardens and are not overlooked. Closer to the Loch shores is Shian, a charming old renovated mill cottage set amongst woodland and burns with an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels. All three houses are fully detached and are located along private tracks with plenty of parking space. They have lots of home comforts with either log fires or wood stove for extra cosiness.

There is a friendly bar and restaurant within walking distance at Ben Lawers Hotel and many more eating places locally. Highland Perthshire has so much to offer for either outdoor pursuits, superb shopping, arts and culture, wildlife watching, heritage and historical sites or just soaking up the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our home Machuim Farm (pronounced “Ma’weem”) is a small working stock farm and living on site means we can offer personal attention and high standards.
