Welcome to the Central Hotel and Top Joes. The Central Hotel in Thurso is situated right in the centre of town, close to all amenities – it couldn’t be handier! Daytime Meals
The Central Hotel is renowned for it’s lunches, high teas and bar meals, offering a wide and varied menu suitable for all ages. Meals are served every day from 11.00am until 8.30pm (Mon to Sat) and on Sunday 11.30am until 8.00pm.
To ensure that you enjoy your meal we provide entertainment for the children in the form of a bouncy castle! The bouncy castle is open every day from 11.00am until 7.00pm. Enjoy the atmosphere of this busy bar whilst knowing that your children are safely having fun on the bouncy castle!
Dining Room
Try out our dining room where you will receive waitress service, and enjoy the atmosphere in lovely surroundings, whilst eating from our extensive menu. We have high-chairs for young children. Meals are served all day from 7am to 8.30pm. We even do take away meals!

Once the castle is put away – it is time for socialising or a quiet pint of cold draught beer! Have fun with friends, try our cocktails and Shooters! Latest additions: SOURZ (Apple juice with with a light kick) and GOLDSCHLAGER (cinnamon schnapps with real gold pieces!).
