Specialising in professional door stewarding across the north east is Elgin-based Moray Security Limited.
Moray security uses a pro-active approach to management which ensures customers not only receive regular meetings with a member of senior management but will also notice them present at busy times.
The business was set up in May 2004 due to increasing demand for professional door stewarding services and mounting speculation that nationwide licensing of security services was imminent.
With its office in Elgin, the company is perfectly placed to cover the main urbanisations of Aberdeen, Elgin and Inverness.
Managing director, Glen Cadwallader has 16 years’ experience in the security industry having worked his way up from the bottom to become the security manager for a night club chain before striking out on his own to set up his own company.
Moray Security Limited now employs over 200 staff and provides licensed door stewarding personnel, event management services and personnel, close protection operatives, and licensed guarding staff.
The company’s customer base has been developed over the years and now covers the entire Highlands and Islands, and Grampian areas.
Clients range from Aberdeen and Highland Councils, to award winning pub chain operators such as PB Developments Ltd in Aberdeen, The Barracuda Group, larger events such as the World Mountain Bike Championships held annually at the Nevis Range, Ross County Football Club, as well as myriad other music festivals, Highland Games, concerts, pubs and nightclubs.
“We take particular pride in our staff and services, planning, preparation and implementation of the correct procedures, along with a recognised management structure to ensure a service unrivalled by any competitor in our area of coverage,” said Glen.
“Our business has grown almost exclusively on word of mouth, when clients approach us they know that they are getting direct contact with the managing director and the benefit of local knowledge which can mean assistance with the promotion of events or venues along with the benefits of our contacts list which in many cases can bring early success to our clients’ projects.”
Looking to the future, Glen now has a number of commercial interests including investment in new local businesses and the management of sporting estates where he enjoys deer stalking and country life.
He is confident that Moray Security Ltd will continue to grow while still maintaining a personal, dedicated service.
He added: “Our strategic plan includes expansion into other areas of the UK, with further acquisitions in the pipeline.
“The company’s growth has consistently remained around 20 to 25 per cent per annum since 2004 and we feel comfortable in continuing this rate of expansion, it is a level with which we feel can sustain the level of client service which we are happy with.
“The future is bright here at Moray Security Limited.”
