What is training for new futures?
We run a course for people who:
- Live in Dundee
- Are aged 16 or over
- Are addressing their drug and/or alcohol use
- Want to make positive changes to their lives
- Wish to access specific learning support
If you fit into the above group, are unemployed, and would like to learn in a relaxed atmosphere, you can access the course.
Aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to provide training and support for you to:
- Build on your existing skills and develop new ones
- Gain job seeking skills
- Discover new learning opportunities
- Make plans for the future
- What can I expect from the course
The course will run for 12 weeks: 3 sessions per week
The course is free
- We provide transport for you to and from ZONE
- A maximum of 10 people are in each group
- We provide individual and group support
- We will assist you to find appropriate childcare if required
- A certificate of achievement and attendance

Social Activities:
To expand your social circle. The course will also strive to meet the individual needs of each group member and can offer support with a variety of educational and social development needs, such as literacy, numeracy and research skills.
