Both the Teeppanyaki and the Oriental restaurants have been open for eight years in the historic North Rotunda building in Glasgow. Yen has become as much of a Landmark on the Clyde as the Finnieston Crane, Which towers about it.
Over the year, both restaurants have built up a loyal following of customers who can’t get enough of what yen has to offer top quality ingredients cooked to perfection in the kitchen and on the teppanyaki hot plate.
Consistently well reviewed, Yen Teppanyaki us entertainment and fine dining fun and great food all rolled in to one, both restaurants are at the top end of the market for quality, but are credit crunch aware when it comes to value for money. Lunch and pre-theatre could hardly be beaten for value and the large, free customer car park makes Yen the perfect place to eat before heading to a concert at SECC or the Clyde Auditorium.
The beautiful restaurant occupies two floors of the historic Glasgow building and is hugely popular with visitors to the city and Glaswegians.
What They Offer
The First and still the best full teppanyaki restaurant in Scotland, Yen teppanyaki features style on a hotplate.
Upstairs, classic Thai, Japanese and Cantonese dishes are served to table in the beautiful, Spherical Oriental restaurant.

Teppanyaki Restaurant lunch menu is £11.95
Pre Treatre Menu
Oriental Restaurant has a pre –theatre option Sunday to Friday from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Two courses are £12.95.
Teppanyaki Restaurant has pre – theatre option Sunday to Thursday, 5.00pm to 6.30 at £16.95
