A burger van may not be the first choice that comes to mind when looking for restaurant quality food but that is exactly what Scott’s Larder has to offer.
The mobile eatery, based outside Forge Gym, in Inverness, serves up a tasty selection of meals to rival any fine dining establishment, and all at fast food prices.
Business partners Stuart Forrester and Scott Maclean deliberately created this culinary paradox because they knew it would make them stand out from the crowd.
Scott’s Larder has only been in business a few months but already has established a loyal customer base, that come to the van on Carsegate Road North for their breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Scott’s Larder also offers lunchtime favourites such as baked potatoes and sandwich baguettes, as well as breakfast rolls and of course burgers and chips – all of which are freshly prepared using only the finest local ingredients.
To ensure its customers are not left waiting while their meal is prepared, Scott’s Larder encourages them to text or call with their order at least 10 minutes in advance.
In addition to the burger van, Scott’s Larder makes a range of homemade products that are available to buy online. Goods include peat smoked meats, game terrines, breads, jams, chutneys, pesto and coconut pickle – Scott’s Larder’s very own creation which goes well with curries and soups.
Scott’s Larder also delivers outside catering for events such as weddings, functions and business conferences, and a home chef service for private dinner parties. As you visit ‘Scott’s Larder’, you may find interest in following listings . . .
