Keiss Archery Club was formed early in 2008 to further the sport in Caithness. Although the majority of the group use modern recurve bows, there are a few shooting traditional long bows, and occasionally compound and Hungarian bows.
Juniors, beginners and improvers are welcome to come along to our Wednesday evening session from 6.30 – 7.30pm, and are free to use the Clubs’ equipment. You will be given advice and tuition on all aspects of the sport including, most importantly, safety.
you may join the more experienced members from 7.30pm onwards and compete against them in a relaxed and friendly competition. There is also a Sunday afternoon competition session, again open to those at a reasonable level and having their own equipment, from 2pm – 4pm.
