Deepscan is an especially practical, fast and efficient camera platform, and is chartered by the media, corporate and private groups, clubs and universities. The Original Loch Ness Monster Exhibition Centre also highlights various search expeditions over the years by respected institutions and individuals such as Operation Deepscan; the research vessel with the experienced skipper John Minshull who has assisted with the Loch Ness Project. The Project’s research vessel “Deepscan” is available on most days to give the visitor a flavour of what makes Loch Ness so special. Regular hourly cruises. The Ness Express is set on a rocky outcrop, Urquhart Castle makes a fantastic backdrop for the turning point of our ninety minute tour of Loch Ness. Taking in stunning scenery, ancient woodlands, wildlife and the world famous Urquhart Castle, our unique tour of this unique loch is fast, exhilarating and suitable for all ages with modern, custom built boats ‘Ness Express’ One and Two are safe, comfortable, fast, dry and guaranteed to raise a smile. Private hire with pick ups from Dochgarroch, Foyers and Drumnadrochit.

The Royal Scot is equipped with the very latest hi-tech Simrad colour sonar and Olex 3D under water imaging system, giving you the best chance to see what really lies at the bottom of Loch Ness. This sophisticated technology is displayed on large flat screens throughout the boat, giving passengers a fascinating view of the terrain and life underwater. The Royal Scot is British registered and carries an MCA Certificate for 120 passengers.
