The Kingsmills Hotel and Kings club

The perfect events space…

The Highlands hosts a number of grand and luxury properties, and one of its finest examples in hospitality is the renowned Kingsmills Hotel, Set within four acres of landscaped grounds, the four-star resort and spa is perfect for both business and leisure breaks, located just one mile from Inverness city centre.

As a privately-owned mansion house hotel boasting 134 bedrooms – many with private balconies and patios or overlooking the neighbouring golf course -the award-winning hotel effortlessly combines its extensive history, traditional main house with the contemporary designed Kingsclub and passionate service to create an unforgettable experience for its guests.

Although its history stretches back to 1786, the hotel’s original features have been seamlessly blended with modern improvements, and continued investment has made it a highly attractive location for meetings and events. This is reflected in its new dedicated events venue, the Kingsmills Suite.

Due to open in January, the suite is one of the largest residential event spaces in Inverness with a capacity of up to 430 delegates. Offering 410 square metres of the newest, design-led meeting and events space, its features include air-conditioning, natural daylight throughout and a break-out area exclusively for suite guests. Integrated audio visual equipment is also available and there is complimentary car parking on site.

The new venue can be divided into four individual rooms, something that was key to the functionality of the space which was designed specifically with events managers in mind.

In addition to the new event space, the hotel has also created an additional 38 bedrooms. The spacious and luxurious rooms provide guests with super king-sized beds, sumptuous duvets and stylish textiles, as well as a separate bath and walk-in shower.

Delegates will be able to switch off and relax whilst benefiting from the hotel’s additional facilities. The health and fitness club provides high quality equipment and qualified instructors within the gym, as well as a sauna, steam room and spa bath, with a coffee bar and lounge to help guests reinvigorate.

The hotel prides itself on its culinary expertise, with a choice of two restaurants to sample some of Scotland’s finest and freshest produce from nature’s larder. Dine in the conservatory on an a la carte menu, or experience the fixed price table d’hote menu in the Inglis Restaurant which showcases the chef’s talent to its fullest extent.

All the hotel’s bedrooms have been designed with guests in mind – whether it’s the cocoon, retreat, family friendly, luxury or deluxe room with private terrace overlooking the gardens – presenting the perfect haven to unwind after a day-long conference or event.

With an exciting period ahead enhancing the already popular conference and events service, staff are looking forward to welcoming guests to the Kingsmills Suite which will undoubtedly make the overall experience an even more remarkable one.
