Situated on the Southern Upland Way (NT 076 028) Lochhouse Farm is a most attractive property nestling beside the river Evan in the South of Scotland close to the tourist town of Moffat.There is a delightful courtyard, steading and stone built farmhouse set in 9 acres of land. This is an excellent base to explore the south of Scotland.
For travellers to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Lochhouse Farm, situated on Junc.15 of the M74, is an ideal stopover. Bikers welcome – off-road parking (some undercover) – drying facilities.
We hope that Lochhouse Farm will be a place where individuals, couples, families and groups can come to ‘recharge their batteries’. It is our dream to redevelop the Farm into a residential holiday centre offering more accommodation, cottage and communal, recreation facilities and programmed events, all accessible to the disabled and able-bodied alike.
We are based in Beattock, one and a quarter miles from Moffat. The farm is close enough to the main roads to make it accessible, but far enough away to be in a quiet riverside setting.
