Blair Atholl has a golf course, shops, hotels and is home to Blair Castle, clan seat of the Duke of Atholl, which with its gardens, is open to the public. 5 miles south the pretty Victorian resort of Pitlochry has the world famous Festival Theatre, Loch Faskally, 2 distillery visitor centres and a challenging golf course. Perthshire offers many activities including walking, climbing, cycling, sailing, water sports, riding, off road driving and winter sports.
On the ground floor there is 1 double (king-size bed) and 1 twin bedroom suitable for children, and a shower room. On the first floor, 1 double (king-size bed) bedroom. A cot and high chair are available. Also on the first floor, the open plan lounge and dining room has an open fire, Freesat TV, DVD and CD player. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and electric hob and oven. The heating is all electric throughout, easily controlled. There is also an extra separate WC on this floor. Bed linen and towels supplied and electricity is included. There is parking for up to three cars. The Cottage lies amongst some of the prettiest countryside in Scotland and is surrounded by unspoiled highland scenery with wide open views. Letting is normally Saturday to Saturday, but late notice other day starts or short term lets are available.
