Glasgow photographer Alan Robertson is the man behind this stunning ‘You’ve arrived’ image which has been chosen by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau to welcome visitors to the city. Depicting the city’s most recognizable landmarks, including the River Clyde, Squinty Bridge and Finnieston Crane, the photograph covers an entire building’s gable end and is visible from the M8. Alan says the panoramic rivers cape took around an hour to shoot and is digitally stitched together from multiple shots.
With more than 112,000 cars crossing the Kingston Bridge each day, this striking photograph is one of Glasgow’s most-seen art pieces.
