Mis Bizio is an Edinburgh based vintage shop (in bohemian Stockbridge), selling clothes and accessories from Joanna Bizio’s 30 years of obsessively collecting and never selling anything.
Miss Bizio Couture Vintage Shop is the source for some of the finest vintage clothing and vintage haute couture available anywhere from 1860 to the present day (skipping most of the production of some notably bad decades!).
Joanna Bizio carefully curated and edited her collection for herself over three decades , only buying what she felt was the the most beautiful clothes in the best condition which she then kept to wear herself. Because of that there is no miniscule vintage pieces as Joanna is a modern sized person.
It was by pure chance in December 2014 that a conversaton with a neighbour led to her taking the next door shop as a pop up. The response was so positive that she decided to remain open indefinitely. Her collection is so large that she has enough clothes to run the shop without buying any more for a number of years.
Joanna Is, however still a collector and still buys for herself which has a knock on effect to her collection, pushing more clothes into her shop.
She has also been very active in buying for her husband so mens clothes do turn up in her shop.
Everything was bought to wear by her so everything is in good condition, clean and ready to wear.
