This is a small club of about 18 members based in Caithness.
They are ideally placed for taking amazing pictures of Caithness from air. This area gets more than its fair share of strong wind, this coupled with our “sound” landing surface means aircraft have to be generally of the more robust variety. That said, we get some beautifully calm and bright days at all times of year. This group build and fly model aeroplanes at the airfield at Castletown.
Any intrepid flyer visiting this area and finding themselves in need of advice, fuel or the odd spare parts can visit Sam at Leisure activities.
