Portmahomack is very picturesque. The houses run along the shore with a view of the lovely sandy beaches, the traditional harbour and a bay where water sports can be done. It is never too crowded for you to enjoy yourself. Sea trips, fishing and water sports along with golf, bird and dolphin spotting, harbour, an abundance of wildlife, superb coastal walks, a highly acclaimed restaurant, two hotels and a well equipped post office/shop are some of the wide variety of amenities this unspoilt area has to offer..
You will find picnic benches and people’s gardens! The houses front the street and some of the gardens are on the other side of the street. Most unusual!
