Quad Bike Treks

Quad Bike Treks

Led by a fully experienced guide, your trek will take you along network of tracks and trails around the Estate, through the Caledonian pine woodland and out across the heather moorland, with breath-taking views of the Cairngorms. You may also catch sight of the Estate’s herd of long horned Highland cattle, or perhaps wild deer and other local wildlife.

Your guide will be happy to stop at various points on the trek to point out areas of special interest en route. Remember to bring a camera! All treks start from the Rothiemurchus Visitor Centre at Inverdruie. The trek lasts around one hour, including safety instruction and training. Our treks continue in all weathers, so please come dressed appropriately, with strong, sensible footwear, and gloves in cold weather.

4×4 Off-Road Driving Experience

Venture off-road for an exciting driving experience in one of our 4×4 vehicles, travelling over a diverse terrain with climbs, descents, steeps and sideslopes. The session starts with an introduction to off-road driving techniques and a demonstration drive with one of our fully qualified instructors. It’s then your turn to take the wheel with a progression from easy terrain to something a little more testing. The off-roading sites are surrounded by spectacular mountain and moorland scenery, so don’t forget your camera!

Climb aboard our long wheel based Land Rover and receive an exclusive tour of Rothiemurchus. Guided and driven by an experienced Rothiemurchus Ranger sit back, relax and discover the many different aspects that make Rothiemurchus so special. Learn the tricks of the trade with a top expert driver, full qualified and highly experienced. You must be 17 years or over, with a valid driving licence. Private and group tuition is available – an ideal activity for company and team-building days out, or even a hen or stag party with a difference!
