In Forsinard on the opposite side of the tracks to the Railway Station and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Centre, is the Station House. This is where Sue Grimshaw lives.
Situated right next to Forsinard Station and the Royal National Society Protection for Birds based in the station building this is an ideal base for walking and seeing the wildlife.
Station Cottage – Tearooms and Gift Shop
A Tearoom for Walkers and Birdwatchers or just a Passing Motorist. After a hard morning walking on the Peatland Reserve, come in and enjoy a light lunch and a cup of your favourite beverage or simply wait for the train in comfort with a cup of tea and some of Sue’s home baking! There is a comfy settee, chairs and a table to write postcards on.
