Placing you first in the race for sales….
The Inverness-based company ICR Solutions has moved into spacious, modern premises at Robertson House in Shore Street.
Supplying state-of-the-art electronic point of sale systems (Epos), ICR now occupies its new building which boasts a training/demo room for customers.
Relocating from Henderson Road in Inverness, ICR has been trading for nearly three decades and has been under the management of Alan Murphy and Lachie Murray since 2010.
Alan previously worked in the hospitality industry before venturing into the Epos market, having worked with some of the best systems, but also some very bad ones, so is very well placed in matching product to need.
He said: “When it comes to till systems and software, people have very different requirements. The days of ‘one size fits air are definitely gone. ICR exists to ensure that the point of sale is high performance, and a slick and efficient process that can add zeros to any profit margin.”
ICR supplies products and servicing to approximately 3,000 businesses across the Highlands, Western Isles, Shetland and as far afield as London and Dublin. This includes establishments such as Johnny Foxes and The Den, Eden Court Theatre, The Heathmount Hotel, The Glenmoriston Hotel, The Crown Court Hotel, The Doors Inn & Storehouse Foulis to name but a few.
ICR also has an office in Stirling where the company looks after all Sportsters-branded bars and nightclubs, including The Fubar which is the town’s top night spot.
Alan said: “We opened this office late last year as a stepping stone into Glasgow and Edinburgh to provide a competitive service plan and for new business, and the signs have been very positive. We have a staff of five working out of there at the moment but would be looking to add more in the future should things continue to go well for us.”
With a 24-hour helpline, ICR is the only provider in Scotland of the worldwide brand Radiant Aloha which was recently acquired by software giant NCR Hospitality & Retail, so you know you are in good hands. It offers a sophisticated yet not complicated Epos solution to the hospitality and retail industry, allowing businesses to quickly and effectively manage their sites and still have plenty of time to focus on customer care without being bogged down with paperwork.
ICR also looks after all the sites for the Lochrise pub chain which replaces The Castle Leisure Group and has added three acquisitions in the last couple of months with The Kirkhouse Inn, The Riverbank and The Monkey Bar in the Central Belt, where the company has installed a new Radiant product called Restaurant Guard.
ICR exists to ensure that the point of sale is high performance, and a slick and efficient process that can add zeros to any profit margin.
Alan said: ‘This is a deterrent to stamp out thefts by staff, scams, etc on the Epos system it also allows you to manage your managers, which could make huge savings and improve gross profits by up to 40 per cent.
