The Cafe at Bettyhill

The Cafe at Bettyhill previously known as Elizabeths Café and Crafts Clachan, Bettyhill.

A warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere await you at our cafe which is situated next to the Clan Mackay and Clearances Museum and the Tourist Information Office alongside the main A836 route across the North Coast of Scotland.

The beautiful sandy Farr Bay is just behind our cafe. The Cafe at Bettyhill has a wide and extensive menu of delicious home baking, e.g. scones, cakes, etc. and well known for our afternoon teas!

Snacks are also popular, prepare freshly cooked food and three course meals to order using local produce wherever possible.

The Cafe also have a wide selection of Orkney Ice Cream.

Hours:

April and May: 12 noon till 8pm closed all day Wednesday
June, July and August: 12 noon till 8pm everyday
September and October:12 noon till 8pm closed every Wednesday
November to March: 5pm till 8pm – Friday and Saturday

Crafts

You must definitely stop to see what we have on offer. Our Crafts comprise of many local works including paintings, knitwear, embroidery, tapestry, photographs, woodwork, cards etc., from Sutherland and the Highlands.

A chance for you to take home a true memento of the Highlands.
