Far from the madding crowd, in the Highlands of Scotland lies the tiny hamlet of Berriedale. It is here that a warm welcome awaits at the Kingspark Llama Farm Bed and breakfast accommodation.

Our Bed and Breakfast is prepared for children and has a cot, bottle warming facilities and a play area suitable for children. Berriedale is situated on the East Coast in the South of Caithness, at the very top of picturesque Berriedale Brae.

You will find that there is plenty to do whilst you are here, from walks around Berriedale and Dunbeath to cultural attractions such as the Dunbeath Heritage CentreLaidhay Croft Museum and the Clan Gunn Museum all within a short distance.

Berriedale Beach is beautiful and is well known for its wonderful bird life or you could take a walk up the Strath of Berriedale and see the Duke of Kent’s Monument.

Here guests will enjoy the splendours of Scottish nature as it was intended in a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, free to roam mile upon mile in a countryside famed worldwide for its rugged scenery. Kingspark is ideally situated for an overnight stay or as a base for as long as you’d like to explore the area.

Kingspark is a large modern single storey bungalow ideally suited to those with any mobility difficulties. The house adjoins the llama farm where guests and visitors can experience the friendlieness of the resident animals. Llamas, Parrots, Owls, Peacocks, Chipmunks and Racoons are usually here. We are part of the Walkers and Cyclists Welcome Scheme. Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star Bed and Breakfast Access for Residents with mobility difficulties.

Whether your interests are birdwatching, hill walking, climbing or touring by car this area has much to offer. It is a paradise for artists and photographers but is also ideal for those who wish just to stroll and relax whilst soaking up the pure air and breathtaking scenery of the North Highlands of Scotland.

How to get there
Berriedale is on the A9 north of Helmsdale. Trains to Helmsdale station, buses to Llama Farm available. Centre picks up from train station (pounds 10 return).
