Ally Saville from Elgin has taken his personal training business of three years to another level by opening
up his own studio and gym.
The sport and exercise science graduate used to travel to his clients’ homes and carry out one-to-one sessions in their front rooms.
But since setting up Ally Saville Personal Training Studio and Gym at Pinefield Business Centre, customers now come to the fully-equipped facility for their workouts.
“It’s becoming really busy and there seems to be a huge demand for it in Moray, which is fantastic,” he said. “The facility I have is unique so I want to make sure everyone is aware it is here and can make good use of it.”
Mr Saville creates personal training sessions complemented by nutritional programmes, both of which are tailored to meet the individual needs of the client.
“It’s a bespoke service because everyone is different. You must take into account a client’s gender, age, body type and lifestyle to construct an effective training programme. There is no ‘one size fits all’ method,” he explained. “It also depends on the client’s goal – weight loss or weight gain, to improve sport performance or to generally improve their lifestyle, mood and stress levels.”
In addition to one-to-one sessions, clients have supplementary workouts to do throughout the week and many choose to do this at Ally Saville Personal Training Studio and Gym.
“Now that I have the gym, many clients will come in and use the facility as part of their training programme,” Mr Saville added. “I open early in the morning until late in the evening so my clients can fit their workouts and training sessions around their job and family commitments.
“I also run several circuit training classes, which are group sessions for about 20 people, who all work at their own pace. It’s a whole body workout using a variety of equipment to create a mix of strength and conditioning and high intensity cardio for maximum fat burn and strength gain.”
